Zika Virus Update

The Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel and Suites has recieved information from the Indonesian Ministry of Health that Australians considering travelling to Indonesia should not be worried about contracting the Zika virus, despite a recent travel advisory from the Australian government.

Indonesia has not been affected by the virus, citing a report by the World Health Organisation (WHO) that excluded Indonesia from the list of countries experiencing an outbreak. (Click here to view the Countries showing the Zika virus)

The Australian travel warning from DFAT relays information that is often linked to hearsay, is not location specific and most importantly that each time new information is posted, it pops-up as a "change in travel warning" and every time creating unwanted fear.

The Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel and Suites re-assures its readers, guests and partners that we are in regular communication with the Bali Hotel's Association, Indonesian Ministry of Health and WHO to ensure that all guests are well informed of the current situation.
