Giving Back: Our Latest Blood Donation Drive

Community has always been part of who we are at Prime Plaza Hotel Sanur, and this August, our annual Blood Donation Drive took center stage as part of our Indonesian Independence Day celebrations. Held in partnership with Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) and Klinik Remedium, the drive was one part of a full day of festivities that also included the flag-raising ceremony and a lineup of fun games, but the blood donation took the other day to be held, a tradition our team looks forward to year after year.

Alongside the donation itself, participants had access to free eye examinations, courtesy of an optical partner who brought along a wide selection of frames available for purchase on the spot, a nice thing for anyone who looking for a new pair of glasses. The event welcomed mostly hotel employees, along with a number of invited guests, all coming together for a cause that quietly makes a real difference.

Our Human Resource team, together with volunteers from across the hotel, helped coordinate the day from start to finish, making sure every donor felt comfortable and well taken care of, with time to relax enjoy the food that already prepare and enjoy the day's other activities together once their part was done.

Moments like these are a reminder that hospitality isn't only about the guests we serve, but about the community we're part of every single day. As an annual fixture of our Independence Day celebrations, the Blood Donation Drive reflects a culture of giving back that runs throughout the year at Prime Plaza Hotel Sanur, but an ongoing commitment shared across every department. We're grateful to every team member and guest partner who rolled up their sleeves this year, and we're already looking forward to next year's celebration.
