Guest Story: Three Generations, One Beloved Hotel

Mrs. Corrie Van Der Putten from Holland along with her son and grandson, smiled as she shared her incredible journey with Prime Plaza Hotel Sanur. “This is our 30th visit here,” she began, her voice filled with fondness.

Her story dates back to 1999, when she and her family first stayed at the property, then known as Radisson Suite Sanur. Over the years, it became a tradition. “Since that first visit, we’ve probably stayed here more than 30 times, sometimes twice a year,” she recounted. Each visit brought cherished memories with her husband, her son, and her grandson—who was just 9 months during one of their earliest family trips. Now, for many years, she stood at the hotel once again, this time with her son and her grandson, creating new memories in a place that felt like home.

When we asked what kept bringing them back, Corrie didn’t hesitate. “It’s the people, the employees!” she said warmly. “Everyone here is so nice, kind, and friendly. It feels like family. That’s why I call this my second home.”

For her, the food was a simple delight, she particularly enjoyed the “bubur ayam” every morning. Andre her son added “I have stayed here 12 times, and my son has stayed 7 times”. The legacy of their visits lives on through each generation, bound by the warmth and connection they feel every time they return to us.
